Summer internships are usually a part of most university course curriculum nowadays. Through internships, students are given a hands-on training to familiarize them with how their chosen industry really works. It also allows students to discover new skills and improve old ones, meet new people and establish networking contacts.

Unilever Philippines
Unilever Philippines has a summer internship program for students who are interested to take a career in the corporate world. The program aims to “provide students an opportunity to experience working in a Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, merging classroom learning and real-world practice, and allowing them to contribute to the organization through their delivery of challenging, and carefully crafted projects.”
They train students in various fields such as Marketing, Customer Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Research and Development, Human Resource, and IT.

Citibank Philippines
The Citi Philippines Summer Internship Program is an 8-12 week development program dedicated to providing meaningful learning opportunities for qualified students. Participants will be assigned to Institutional Clients Group (ICG) or Regional Consumer Bank (RCB), based on business requirements and can expect to engage in various learning and development programs while also receiving practical professional training. Nestlé Philippines
For many years now, Nestlé has been partnering with reputable educational institutions, offering practical and theoretical training to selected students, in order to help them acquire more relevant and practical industrial skills.
They have a Student Trainee Program, a walk-in Training Program that combines office work and hands-on training. They also offer an Academic Linkage Program, where Nestlé provides shop floor and on-site training to selected students from educational institutions.

Thomson Reuters
Thomson Reuters is the “world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals.” They are currently on the lookout for Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources and Communications students for their internship program. Students who will pass the application process will be assigned in their main office in Taguig City.
Journalism students who are interested in financial news are also encouraged to apply for Reuters’ Global Journalism Internship or Reuters’ Journalism Trainee program. They send interns in their international offices in the United States of America, Europe and Asia.

Jollibee Foods Corporation
