Bronze Age Media, Inc. will hold a half-day feature writing workshop for writers interested in earning through freelance writing.

The sessions will focus on “Ad Features for a Mass Audience” with Dandi Galvez and “Ad Features for Youth/Young Professionals” with Amy Mosura. It will include writing exercises where participants can get feedback on their submissions.

It will be held on Saturday, 30 April 2011, 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm, at the Penthouse of Orange and Bronze Software Labs Inc. located at CJV Building, 108 Aguirre Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

Participants to the workshop will get guidance on writing effective advertising features and find out which markets or publications offer opportunities for freelance submissions.

“The goal of this workshop is to inform freelance writers how to represent their client, sell the product or concept and come out with an entertaining and informative article,” says Amy Mosura. Amy has spent ten years in the public relations industry, specializing in broadcasting.

Dandi, a senior writer at a national daily broadsheet, also notes that a freelancer should also look into the profile of the target audience and find out what they care about and what would make them care about the feature article.
