What do employers want in an employee? What are the options available to someone in my course? How can I prepare my resume to be more attractive to employers?
This Wednesday, August 4, 2010, students of Enderun Colleges will not only get an education in international hospitality management and business administration, but the answers to these questions and more through CareerCamp.
CareerCamp is a program designed by Bronze Age Media, Inc. to help students develop the skills they need to get noticed in their chosen professions. Students will have an opportunity to meet with leading experts in their field, make valuable contacts, explore their options, and eventually make informed decisions that will affect their lives.
Each CareerCamp event is fully customized for each partner school. Exclusive to Enderun students, Bronze Age Media designed the upcoming CareerCamp in response to the needs of students in international hospitality management and business administration. However, Bronze Age Media partner schools can choose to tailor its CareerCamp event towards communications, computer science and IT, business, and more.
CareerCamp will expose Enderun’s students to the tools and knowledge they need to plan their professional life as early as possible, in ways that are accessible and fun. Workshops on effective Resume Writing and Interview Tips will be held in the afternoon starting at 1 pm. A Career Talk featuring speakers from the hotel and hospitality industry follows.
Guest speakers for the Career Talk include Norman O. Eusebio, Area General Manager for Microtel South Luzon; Jaye Godornes, Manager of the Manila Sales Office of Plantation Bay; and John A. Tanjangco, Director of Sales and Marketing, Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa.
CareerCamp will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Enderun Colleges campus at McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Enderun students may register by contacting the Career Services office or visiting the Enderun Student Portal.
